This showcase will be an opportunity for alumni interested in nonprofit board service to learn more about organizations who are looking for additional board members. Space is limited, and RSVPs will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis. A list of nonprofit organizations will be provided upon registration.

Guests will have the unique opportunity to connect with executives at NBCUniversal.

Nicolina O’Rorke ’05
CFO, NBC Sports Regional Networks

In July 2015, Nicolina O'Rorke was named CFO of NBC Sports Regional Networks, a division of NBC Sports Group consisting of nine regional sports networks delivering more than 2,200 live sporting events annually, along with breaking news, comprehensive analysis, digital content, and original programming to over 43 million homes. She leads a team of more than 40 finance professionals, and her tenure at NBCUniversal (NBCU) has spanned a decade in eight finance roles, including CFO of NBC News and CFO of MSNBC, She has supported household names such as TODAY, Nightly News, USA Network, Syfy and Bravo. Prior to joining NBCUniversal, O'Rorke began her career in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin, & Jenrette. O'Rorke graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S.B.A., and received her MBA from Columbia University. She resides in Larchmont, NY with her husband and children.

 

Alison Overseth ’84
Executive Director, Partnership for After School Education

Alison Overseth is the Executive Director of the Partnership for After School Education (PASE), a nonprofit which works with hundreds of community based organizations, higher education institutions, and corporate partners to improve the quality of opportunities available to young people living in poverty in New York City. With over 25 years of experience in the youth serving profession, Ms. Overseth directed a management initiative for the Fund for the City of New York to strengthen the non-profit agencies that provide community support for young people, and served as the founding President of the Board of Directors of PASE for 12 years. Ms. Overseth serves on the Board of Trustees of Smith College; serves as a Director of the Millennial Action Project; is on the Advisory Board of The Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School; has been an Adjunct Professor at Bank Street College of Education teaching a leadership course; is a Trustee of the FDR Presidential Library and Museum; and is a trustee of the UNR Asbestos-Disease Claims Trust. Ms. Overseth was a Director at The First Boston Corporation, specializing in corporate restructurings, from 1984-1992. Ms. Overseth is a graduate of Smith College and Columbia Business School. She has three children.
