Registration is closed for this event

Building the Ecosystem for Social Ventures with Elisa Miller-Out, Singlebrook; Vince Ponzo, General Assembly; Owen Davis, NYC Seed; and R.A. Farrokhnia, Columbia Business School

Join us for an interactive workshop on building the social venture ecosystem in the Tri-State area and beyond. Examine the strengths and gaps in the current system across areas such as capital and fundraising, policy, resources, community and more. Network and identify potential collaborators for upcoming initiatives. Brainstorm ideas and actions for leveraging our strengths and taking our regional social venture community to the next level. All members of the social venture community are welcome to attend including: entrepreneurs, investors, students, nonprofit and B Corp founders, community leaders and more.

Spark provides Social Innovators with an opportunity to explore resources, connections and potential solutions to help their social ventures, by tapping the collective knowledge within Columbia University, and the larger entrepreneurial and social impact community in the New York area and beyond.

This workshop is open to all who are willing to bring their ideas, experience, and connections to help solve social and environmental challenges that these social innovators aim to address.
