The Business Case for Second Chance Employment:
Charting a Path Forward with Business Schools and Corporations

This in-person conference — organized by the Business Roundtable; Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School; Justice Through Code at Columbia University; and Second Chance Business Coalition, co-chaired by JPMorgan Chase and Eaton Corporation — will explore labor market trends and the role corporations and business schools can play in educating the business community and future corporate leaders on the benefits of second chance employment.

Participants will hear from leading CEOs on the business case for second chance employment and the practical steps chief human resources officers have taken to develop and implement hiring and advancement practices. Participants will also hear about the work of state leaders and business schools in providing pathways to sustainable employment for individuals with criminal records.

Bringing together business leaders, faculty, administrators, scholars from business schools, governors and directly impacted individuals, this is a Second Chance Month event you will not want to miss.
