Denise Ciesielska

Portfolio Manager for Health, Acumen Fund

Denise Ciesielka is the Portfolio Manager for Health. Prior to joining Acumen Fund, Ms. Ciesielka was the CEO of VRex, an advanced imaging hardware and software company. Her tenure included living in Malaysia while opening a subsidiary there. Ms. Ciesielka previously managed external investments and OTC brands in the Complimentary Medicines division of Pfizer. She has also worked with Merck-Medco in marketing and managing formularies. Additional roles included managing the marketing, sales and technical team for North, Central and South America for Biotrace, a biotech company. Ms. Ciesielka received her BA from Brown University in Business Economics and an MBA from Columbia University. She also has an MS in Biological Sciences and Nutrition.
