Speaker Biographies

Djena Graves

Director of Business Development, ICV Capital Partners LLC

Miss Graves is the Director of Business Development for ICV Capital Partners LLC, a New-York based private investment fund. ICV is a minority-owned private equity firm with over $130 million of committed capital. ICV pursues equity investments in profitable inner-city and minority companies with highly defensible market positions, positive cash flows and sustainable competitive advantages. Miss Graves is responsible for generating suitable investment opportunities for the fund through cultivating key relationships with entrepreneurs, industry organizations and related professionals. In addition, Miss Graves also focuses on seeking revenue enhancement opportunities for ICV's existing portfolio companies as well as fundraising activities.

Prior to joining ICV, Miss Graves was a representative with World Financial Group "WFG" where she advised small businesses on financial and strategic planning. Prior to WFG, Miss Graves was a senior associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley focused on energy companies. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Ms Graves worked as a process engineer at Lyondell-Citgo in her hometown of Houston, Texas. Miss Graves received a BS degree cum laude in chemical engineering from Florida A&M University and a Masters in Business administration from New York University- Stern School of Business. She enjoys traveling, cooking, boxing and playing golf.
