Tokumbo Shobowale

Vice President of Strategic Planning, Policy and Program Development, New York City Economic Development Corporation

Tokumbo E. O. Shobowale is the Vice President of Strategic Planning, Policy and Program Development at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. He is responsible both for developing policy analysis and recommendations on existing and emerging economic development issues and aligning NYCEDC's priorities and resources to address these existing and emergent issues. Prior to joining NYCEDC, Tokumbo served as a strategy consultant for Dalberg Development and McKinsey & Company, and as Honduras program director for a small not-for-profit organization facilitating rural enterprise and energy development. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Stanford University, an M.A. at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, and an M.B.A. at the MIT Sloan School of Management, earning each degree with academic distinction.
