As Managing Director for Fiscal Accountability, David Nummy is responsible for assessing the financial and procurement management elements of MCC Compacts.

Prior to MCC, Mr. Nummy spent ten years with the United States Treasury Department as the Senior Advisor for Budget Policy and Management coordinating the activities of budget advisors to governments in transition throughout the world.

Mr. Nummy has held a variety of financial management positions in the public and private sector. He served as the Assistant Secretary for Management and Chief Financial Officer of the Department of the Treasury, a Senate-confirmed position, in the administration of President George Bush. During the 1980’s, he worked on the staff of the United States’ Senate Budget Committee.

In addition to positions in the public sector, Mr. Nummy was Business Manager for a consulting firm and managed a democratization program in Ukraine during 1994.

Mr. Nummy has a Masters Degree in Accounting and is a registered Certified Public Accountant. He currently resides in Washington, DC.
