Eron Bloomgarden is US Country Director and managed EcoSecurities’ business activities in the United States. He has extensive experience in project development, advisory and due diligence work related to the activities of greenhouse gas mitigation projects and international emissions trading. Previously Mr. Bloomgarden was responsible for origination and project development for EcoSecurities in Latin America. His research and consultancy work includes analysis of international sustainability criteria for the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) for the United Nations Division for Sustainable Development, and projects for clients such as UNDP, Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), NGO groups and private sector companies. Mr. Bloomgarden has over ten years of professional experience in international business and environmental policy. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University’s School if International and Public Affairs (SIPA) in New York City.
