Mark Huang is a Senior Vice President at GE Commercial Finance’s Technology Finance Group. He leads a new effort to offer venture debt and equity financing to promising clean technology companies in conjunction with GE Commercial Finance’s Energy Financial Services Group. GE’s clean technology investment initiative is primarily focused on energy, transportation and water technologies. Mr. Huang’s recent equity investments include A123 Systems and Ocean Power Delivery.

Prior to this new effort, Mr. Huang had worked with GE Equity in making energy technology equity investments. His efforts in this capacity included being integrated with the GE Energy Business Development team to develop GE’s entrance strategy into the photovoltaic sector. He has been with GE since 1997.

Mr. Huang holds a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Webb Institute and a MBA and a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University in New York City. Mr. Huang was also mobilized in 2003 as an officer in the US Army Reserves to serve in Iraq.
