Jeffrey Escoffier

Jeffrey Escoffier is the director of marketing for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.  He was the Deputy Director of the Office of Gay and Lesbian Health from 1995 to 1999.  Before coming to the Health Department he worked as an editor, publisher and literary agent.  He is the author of four books, including a biography of John Maynard Keynes and on the sexual revolution of the 1960s and 70s, and has written extensively about sexuality, the history of safer sex and on lesbian and gay issues.
