Christina Kristoffersson
Corporate Relations Manager, GBC

Christina Kristoffersson first became aware of the impact of HIV/AIDS after witnessing the disease's effects while volunteering in an orphanage in Kampala, Uganda. This experience motivated her to become actively involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria.

Christina joined GBC in 2001 and has actively participated in delivering high level member services, recruiting new companies and contributing to the overall growth and development of GBC into a leading international network of companies. As GBC’s Corporate Relations Manager, Christina works with businesses to tailor their response, in addition to coordinating GBC member recruitment. Christina has successfully managed multiple accounts from a variety of industries, developing strong relationships with companies and directing them to engage more deeply on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. Christina’s corporate background and understanding of how companies operate guide her efforts to effectively merge the private sector’s innovative and creative skills with social issues.

Before joining the GBC, Christina worked as an account executive in the technology department of Ketchum in London. She oversaw the company's Business Software Alliance (BSA), IBM and Kodak accounts. Prior to that she worked as an account coordinator for Positive Thinking, a marketing communications agency, where she handled their American Airlines and Royal Caribbean accounts.

Christina has traveled extensively and is fluent in Swedish and French. Christina earned a BA in Business from the University of Kent at Canterbury and is undertaking an MBA with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Nottingham University.
