Sionainn Marcoux
Managing Director of Education Pioneers' New York City site

Sionainn Marcoux is the Managing Director of Education Pioneers’ New York City site, following her time in Boston where she launched that site in 2005.  Sionainn (pronounced “Shannon”) has devoted her career to providing students with access to high quality educational opportunities.  After graduating from college, Sionainn taught math for five years at public high schools in the San Francisco Bay Area.  More recently, she designed math software and developed curriculum management systems for educational technology companies.  Sionainn majored in psychology at Stanford University, where she was an All-American swimmer, and she earned a Master in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
