Andrea Wenner
Founder and Executive Director, Out2Play 

As Founder and Executive Director of Out2Play, Andrea Wenner is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s activities, including fundraising, project management, financial management, board relations and partnership development.  Under Ms. Wenner’s direction, Out2Play has completed 15 playground projects and raised over $9 million in funding from public and private sources.  Ms. Wenner developed the concept and business plan for Out2Play while a student at Columbia Business School and founded the organization upon her graduation.

Ms. Wenner graduated from Columbia Business School with an MBA in May, 2005 as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and with concentrations in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship.  While in school, Ms. Wenner worked at Hamilton, Rabinovitz & Alschuler, a consulting firm specializing in urban and economic development, public-private partnerships and nonprofit management.  Prior to matriculating at Columbia Business School, Ms. Wenner worked in the Private Client Services department at Banc of America Securities, LLC where she was a Sales Analyst.  There, she was responsible for day to day business management of her team’s portfolio of high net worth clients and prospecting for new clients.

Ms. Wenner graduated with Distinction in May, 2000 from Yale University.  While at Yale, her entrepreneurial spirit was sparked when she founded and operated a successful video rental store in New Haven.
