Henry Gonzalez, Vice President of Microfinance Institutions Group, Morgan Stanley

KatzmanHenry Gonzalez joined the Microfinance Institutions Group after working for the firm’s Private Wealth Management practice providing investment advice to Central American clients.

Prior to that, he worked for The Global Exchange for Social Investment in London and for the United Nations Development Program in San José, Costa Rica after working for the World Bank in Washington D.C. In his earlier career, he was the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Agriculture in his home country of Costa Rica and served as a Legislative Advisor to an Assembly member. 

Mr. Gozalez holds an MBA from Oxford University where he was granted a Skoll Scholarship for Social Entrepreneurship and an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government where he was a Fulbright Scholar. He also holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Costa Rica.
