Speaker Bio
David Walker, Director of Manufacturing and Logistics, PepsiCo International
David Walker is a 25 year veteran of PepsiCo, serving in both North American and International Operations. Mr. Walker has held positions of increasing responsibility including assignments as Maintenance, Production and Quality Assurance Manager, as well Plant Manager in Pepsi-Cola North America and Pepsi Bottling Group.
In his current role, Mr. Walker is responsible for Productivity and Sustainability for International Food and Beverage Operations in PepsiCo.
Mr. Walker manages several programs for PepsiCo and PepsiCo International. These programs include:
- ReCon – a site-level Resource Conservation Capability Building Tool
- Global Metrics – the International Metric Program for PepsiCo
- Sustainable Engineering Guidelines – support for Green Building Design
- Greenhouse Gas Reduction, including Reporting & GHG LCA development
- Line Efficiency and Rapid Changeover Programs
Mr. Walker holds BS and MS degrees from Texas Tech University and resides in Stamford, CT.
