Alice
Griffin

Green Consulting
Alice Griffin is
a Certified Public Accountant who has worked in the nonprofit area for
20 years in both paid and volunteer capacities. She was the Chief Financial
Officer for the National Council on Alcoholism/Westchester and The Healthcare
Chapliancy in New York City. In her experience with Bennett, Kielson,
CPAs in Westchester County, she audited school districts, municipalities
and nonprofit entities.
As a volunteer,
she served an appointed term of 5 years as the Treasurer of the Village
of Bronxville, New York. She was Treasurer and President of the Juvenile
Law Education Project. Currently, Alice serves as Treasurer of the Board
of the East Harlem Tutorial Program and a presenter for the Nonprofit
Boards Clearinghouse.
Alice and Anne Green
formed Griffin Green Consulting in response to corporate community demand
for leadership training for their employees on the roles and responsibilities
of nonprofit boards of directors. Following this intensive seminar,
Griffin Green helps match employees to a nonprofit agency that meets
their interests and passion. In addition, Griffin Green tailors programs
for nonprofits with specialties in the areas of governance, board development
and strategic planning.
