Joel Forbes

Managing Director; Global Head of the New Business Department and the Environmental Management/Corporate Responsibility Program, UBS Investment Bank

Professional Background: 23 years in the work force, of which the last 18 years have been spent in the financial services industry. In 2001, established the Environmental Risk Management program within UBS Investment Bank, which represented an expansion of the UBS Group 1998 mandate. In conjunction with Innovest Strategic Advisors, developed an education and training curriculum that focused on specific industry sectors, control requirements of the UBS' Investment Bankers, Equity Research and key control functions. Created an Corporate Social Responsibilities "Competence Center" to provide assistance to the Business and Control functions on issues pertaining primarily to Environmental Risk.
