Kevin McGruder

CBS '84 Co-owner, Harlemade, and Board of Directors, Harlem Textile Works

A native of Toledo, Ohio, Kevin McGruder is a co-owner of Harlemade Style Shop, and a doctoral student in American History at City University of New York's Graduate Center. Since graduating from Columbia Business School in 1984 he has worked for Local Initiatives Support Corporation, the Abyssinian Development Corporation, and was Executive Director of Gay Men of African Descent from 1997 to 2001. In 1990 and 1991 he was the owner of Home to Harlem. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Harlem Textile Works. He received a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.
