Stephen Moss

Associate, McKinsey & Company

Stephen Moss is an Associate in the Stamford Office of McKinsey & Company. While primarily serving clients in the high-tech sector, Stephen is also active in the Firm’s Non-profit practice.

His recent experience includes:

• Evaluating a proposed merger between two not-for-profit social services organizations in Stamford, CT. This work involved creating a detailed financial model and interviewing numerous funders to assess the likely financial impact of the proposed merger



• Assisting a NA manufacturer of Intel-based servers to implement a transactional pricing program. The creation of a transactional pricing database enabled analyses to identify more than 50 pricing opportunities. The proposed pricing actions are expected to yield more than a 7% improvement in pre-tax profits

Stephen holds a Ph.D. in Atomic Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.A. degree in physics and mathematics from Rice University.
