About the Social Enterprise Club
The Social Enterprise Club (SEC) is the hub for mission driven business leadership at Columbia Business School. We partner directly with the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise to deliver exclusive content and opportunities in this space. SEC oversees several initiatives, including Pangea, Microlumbia, and the Nonprofit Board Leadership Program. In addition, SEC runs the social enterprise week fundraiser and hosts the annual social enterprise conference. SEC is the Net Impact Chapter at Columbia University.
The mission of the Social Enterprise Club is to create elite business leaders who generate sustainable profits by building and scaling impact-driven enterprises.
SEC envisions a world where the transformative power of business is harnessed to generate profit with a purpose across the globe. We see business education as a fundamental part of this transformation.
