About the Social Enterprise Club
ABOUT
The Social Enterprise Club (SEC) is the hub for impact driven business leadership at Columbia Business School. We are one of the largest student organizations at Columbia Business School with over 500 active members and thousands of alumni. We partner directly with the Tamer Institute for Social Enterprise and Climate Change to deliver social impact programs to students and community members. Flagship programs include the Microlumbia impact investment fund and impact consulting fellowships (Pangea and Nonprofit Board Leadership Program).
MISSION
Our mission is to cultivate a new generation of impact oriented business leaders — leaders who generate social good in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.
VISION
SEC envisions a world where business development and social impact are sympatico — we strive to shape leaders and organizations that catalyze sustainable growth and equitable communities.
If you're a student, alumni or employer looking to connect, please reach out to our Co-Presidents: Miles Bergner (mbergner@gsb.columbia.edu) and Ray Lu (rl3214@columbia.edu).
